Gear
I own and operate two camera systems:
The RED Epic-W Helium cinema camera and two Panasonic GH7 mirrorless video/stills cameras.
One GH7 is fully rigged and the other is stock for gimbal setups and photography.
Both cameras feature an embedded XLR sound module to provide high quality synchronised audio.
The Epic-W records in raw or Apple ProRes, while the GH7 records Apple ProRes or a lower bitrate .MOV video for economical data management.

Important notes about gear:
Any/all of the above items are available within the rates below, however not all gear is regularly packed into the vehicle. To avoid disappointment on location, you must let me know what you require prior to the shoot to ensure it will be available on set. Drone operations are subject to conditions that are deemed safe to fly at my sole discretion. Additional fees may apply for restricted fly zones. Speak with me for more details. CASA certified and insured.

No superannuation charges
Invoiced from my PTY LTD company
Not included:
Tolls, parking, pre-production, hard drives or postage.
Pre-production:
If you require me to attend client meetings (including online), do any shoot planning, location recces, gear pickup or drop-off, etc.

Bio
Hi, I'm Ben.
I'm a Sydney based director and cinematographer with 20 years experience. I've directed and/or shot commercials and corporate videos for piles brands like Amazon, Coles, Red Balloon, Esky, Toyota, Listerine, Lexus and many others, including over 20 TVC's for Mortgage House and over 50 retail ads for Lowes Menswear.
I'm also a CASA Certified drone operator with a sub 25kg RePL license.
I studied with AFTRS, the University of New England and JMC Academy, and for my work I've received awards from Tropfest, The Australian Video Producers Association and Sydney Indie Film Festival to name a few.
I'm comfortable working solo, or commanding a crew - either way, I'm a team player, I enjoy being on set with other creative people, I communicate well with clients, and I'm always passionate about producing great video content. I'm also well connected with other crew and equipment rental houses and can make good recommendations on both.
